I don't know about you but when I look around at the world today and the times we're living in, I can't help but think that the same ideas that got us here can't possibly be the ideas that will get us where we want to be in the future.
If we want our own lives and the world we live in to look different than it does today, we have to start approaching things differently. We have to start making different choices and, I believe, we need to rearrange our priorities.
Now, I'm certainly not saying I have all the great ideas or all the answers. As a matter of fact, I don't know that I have any. I'll let you be the judge of that.
I simply want to share the ideas I do have because I believe that change often starts with an idea. When we discuss new and old ideas alike, those discussions can serve as the seed that sprouts into action and action into results (and results are ultimately what we're all after).
Because I believe I was made for such a time as this (and so were you), I think it's our responsibility to work together to make the world a better place tomorrow than it was today.
I hope you will join me in exploring ideas for a time such as the one we're living in today!
I'm 35 year old Believer living in the beautiful (but awfully wet) Pacific Northwest with my wife of almost fifteen years and three (about to be four) kids.
I'm driven and as Type A as you get but each day I step back and ask myself what it profits a man to gain the world but lose his soul? As much as I love pursuing success and achievement, I know that I don't get to take any of it with me and that what really matters when it's all said and done is that I loved God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength and that I loved others as myself.
I married my wife when I was 20 years old, we had two daughters who are now six and four, we took in my youngest sister who is sixteen and we are in the process of adopting a son from India. I have parents, step parents and seven siblings. It's been a wild ride thus far and yet I wouldn't have it any other way. My family means more to me than anything God's given me in this life.
In today's world, we are constantly pressured to "succeed" but often times, in doing so, we sacrifice everything that matters most. I've been an athlete my entire life and learned at a young age how important my health was. Health and wellness today requires us to be our own advocates and to read between the lines if we are to decipher between what works and what doesn't.
For as long as I can remember I've loved the idea of starting something small and watching it grow. I've also loved getting paid for helping people solve a problem and/or for creating opportunity for them. That's why I love running my businesses and investing their profits.
As of now, there's no set schedule for when I post new articles. Subscribe below and whenever I post something new, I'll let you know.
